Millersville at Fall Creek Valley, our invaluable project partners, and tireless volunteers
have been recognized for outstanding efforts in creating a welcoming and sustainable
community park, The Millersville at Fall Creek Preserve:
We were named one of three finalists for the INRC's 2016 Collaborative Spirit Award, an award celebrating unique, sustainable projects that demonstrate strong partnerships and enhance the quality of life in our community. Awarded projects embrace the spirit of cooperation and community leadership. Selection of award finalists was based on the degree to which nominees were innovative, overcame obstacles and mobilized community resources and created partnerships among people of different ages, cultures and economic status who might not ordinarily work together.
Each year, the White River Alliance presents awards to groups or individuals throughout central Indiana who have stepped up to help the White River in various ways. These Stewardship Award winners are recognized for their work and are presented with a Bundy Duck, a one-of-a-kind native duck carved from Indiana hardwoods from the Upper White River Watershed.
We're proud to have received the 2016 award for Excellence in Sustainable Design or Construction. According to the White River Alliance, this award recognizes a building project that conserves natural resources and promotes the health and well-being of its occupants or the public. Winners have impacted the natural resources involved and the lasting health of the landscape upon which it resides.
